David Boyer is a Northern Nevada artist that makes kinetic wind sculptures. Around 1998 David began the process of inventing his sculptures. He uses the term invent because, aside from being artistic constructs, his kinetic sculptures are also complex machines, and as such often take a great deal of invention to bring them to completion. Being powered by the wind, David's kinetic sculptures are constantly changing as they interact with the environment.
