My profession as an artist consists of making and exhibiting moving objects and installations. These are clarified by performing piano concerts by myself. The concerts are performed solo, as well as on four grand pianos with the other members of the Bergen Kwartet. A number of my objects present an impression of a building. Some of these originate from existing buildings I remember from my youth. Others sprung from pure imagination. Memories of the buildings are the basis of the moving sculptures, some of which I regard as spacial drawings. By means of -among other things- electrical motors
Robert Lambermont, born in Heerlen (The Netherlands) in 1976, is a professional piano player and sculptor and graduated in 1999 at the department Autonomous Sculpting of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He exhibited his objects in the Zuiderzeemuseum Enkhuizen, Arti et Amicitae in Amsterdam and Museum Het Domein in Sittard (solo exhibition) and many other places. His works have been bought by several museums and collectors, among which Museum Het Domein and De Rijkscollectie.
