I define my work as 'functional objects', which are more expressive than mere functional. Take a chair for instance. Most people consider it as a piece of furniture, which should be of the utmost comfort to relax on. To me however, the lack of such comfort could really be more artistic and meaningful. So I will go for object language instead of function. In its construction, the intended function is just a starting point, which is sometimes clearly present in the final form and sometimes not. It's a game between function and object language which always ends in the object language
