 Bot instruments
BOT (2009) is a three-piece band, who make off-balance songs with rigid machinery. As a group member of BOT, Geert Jonkers is responsible for a broad range of instruments. Acoustic machinery, motorised or handdriven, varying between a set of polka-clapping art teethings to rythmical lumberjack axes. Old school mechanics and an unlikely collection of urban society residu determine the pass and feel of touchy and introspective songs about life. The set contains over 30 installations.
