Zweibeinige Windspinne
An aerometer drives an excenter over a worm gear. At this excenter weights are mounted through two cords and two pulleys. The weights rise and fall alternately and move a balance beam. At the ends of the balance beam, carbon rods hangs down to the floor. These rods either push off the ground and thus rotate the balance beam (similar to a skier) or be trailed. The title means: 'Two Legs Wind-Spider'. © All images, texts and the idea of the artists work are subject to the German copyright law and if pro rata the relevant collecting society and if pro rata the photographer.
